Accommodation on Koh Lanta is incredibly varied – there is a myriad of choice, ranging from basic bungalows to luxurious resorts. Most accommodation is extremely close to the beach, or literally beachfront.
At the budget end of the scale, you can find simple Thai style thatched roof bungalows with double beds, private bath with cold water shower, and fans to keep you cool at night.
Mid- range resorts will offer more creature comforts such as air-con, hot water, satellite TV, and maybe a mini-bar for a little more money.
Most of these resorts will offer services such as motorbike rentals, internet facilities, on-site restaurants, and tour packages and booking services. A few might even have a swimming pool.
Top-end deluxe resorts offer sumptuous suites, complete with Jacuzzis, luxurious hot water bathrooms, high-end bedding and linens, and 5-star service to match.
Resorts such as these will offer spa services, gourmet restaurants, fancy pools, on-site gyms, and other such perks.
