How to get to Koh Lanta |

and Trang Airport. From Singapore to Krabi International
Airport there are regular flights from Singapore, operated by Silk Air and Tiger
Airways. The flight takes about 1 hr. 40 min. By BoatFrom Phuket via Koh Phi Phi:The ferry is operating three times a day from Phuket to Phi Phi Island, and twice a day from Phi Phi Island to Koh Lanta. The ferry boat from Phi Phi to Koh Lanta is operating from mid October to April only. The boat departs from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi at 8.30, 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm. At Koh Phi Phi there is another Boat, departing to Koh Lanta at 11.30 and 2 pm. For the return, the boat from Koh Lanta to Phi Phi is departing at 8am and 1 am (250 Baht, 1 ¼ hours), and from Phi Phi to Phuket at 9 am and 2.30 and 3pm (350 Baht to 450 Baht, 2 hours). From Krabi:Boats from Krabi operate November to April. There are two boats daily, at 10.30 am and 1.30 pm (200 Baht, 2 hrs.) Boats back to Krabi leave at 8 am and 1 pm (200 to 250 Baht, 1 ½ hours. By Train & BusIf you are coming by Train from Bangkok (12 to 16 hrs.), you will get off at Trang and take a bus or Minivan to Koh Lanta. The busses leave all around town and at the Train station. Minibuses leave from Krabi at 11am, 1pm and 4pm. From Trang there are buses and minivans. The trip takes about 2,5 to 3 hrs. and includes two car ferry crossings (200 Baht). By CarFrom Krabi: Highway No. 4 with direction to the south / Trang. After passing Klong Thom, you will turn on street 4206, where you already notice signs for the ferry boat. There are two short ferries connecting Koh Lanta to the mainland port of Ban Hua Hin. Each of the ferries cost 50 Baht for cars, 10 Baht for motorcycles. The ferry boat runs half-hourly from 8am to 8pm daily. |
